Have you ever wanted to stick your hand into the Sarlacc Pit? I’m guessing you haven’t – regardless, it’s a thing you can do. DeviantArt user pandacatification knitted this hand puppet for a Star Wars contest. The Great Pit of Carkoon and the Sarlacc that resides within are overlooked all too often. The five tentacles go over your fingers like a glove. Just think about how much you could torment your friends!
If you can’t resist the Sarlacc’s charms be sure to visit the DeviantArt page – it’s available to purchase!

This fully functional Donkey Kong game table was made by Joel Griffin Dodd as an experiment of sorts. He’s built a lot of custom cabinets and people always say he should sell them, but he can’t see how he’d turn a profit. He decided to build this table to see just how much it would cost when he factored in parts and labor. As you’ll see after the break, his parts worked out to $415.
Used Oak Wine Barrel – $87.00
17″ 4:3 Monitor – $25.00 (Craigslist)
Craftymech SLG Scanline generator – $23
Power Strip – $6
Amplifier – $19
Power Socket – $5
4x PCB Feet – $2
Power Supply – $18
2x long shaft zippy sticks – $16
Jamma Wiring Harness – $10
4x Regular Buttons& Switch – $4
3x Player Start Buttons – $3
Speakers – $15
1/2″ Bevelled Glass – $84.00
Laminated Control Panel art – $38
Bezel Artwork – $22
Paint – $6
Stain – $13
Shipping – $19.00
His labor, which he didn’t place a value on, came to about 20 hours. I don’t know what he’d charge, but it seems to me there are more than a few nerds out there who’d shell out enough for him to make a profit on this one!

Westeros is full of valuable life lessons about locating dragons, hunting, incest, and so much more. You only have to pay attention to become wiser and improve yourself. College Humor came up with several PSAs straight from Game of Thrones, and they’ll improve your day and possibly make your life better.

It’s time to show off your love for zombies in a whole new way – use prepaid debit cards with images from The Walking Dead comic! The stylishly nerdy cards are almost certainly better than anything you have in your wallet. The art is by Charlie Adlard, and you can choose from a few different designs. Besides the fact that pulling a Michonne or Rick card out to pay for your comics is awesome, they also won’t rack up credit card debt since they’re prepaid.
See the other available designs after the break.
You can grab these Walking Dead cards from Card.com and use them anywhere Visa cards are accepted.
His name is Saad and he’s flying through the air in his DeLorean time machine and he has something he wants to tell you. It’s simple and straightforward and you can’t really argue with him.

I was complaining to my boyfriend that we never cuddle anymore and this was his solution.

Cat Taylor is a “Keeper of Scrolls/Behind the Scenes writer on the set of Game of Thrones.” She recently tweeted a small picture of a conference table the crew uses and asked readers to guess what it was. It turns out this awesome table’s surface is actually the impregnable gates of Qarth. I imagine that its presence alone makes any meeting more epic and dramatic.

In one of the most well-known scenes from the series The IT Crowd, Roy and Moss convince their clueless boss that the entirety of the internet is in a little black box with a red light. She then takes it to a special presentation and instead of being laughed out of the room, it turns out her co-workers are just as clueless.
Now you too can have the internet in a box. It’s got the little red light and an on/off switch, but turn it off at your own peril. You won’t like what happens when you turn off the internet.

I don’t care how they smell on the outside, they look fantastic as rugs. This tauntaun skin rug was designed by Malaki Keller as a 1:1 scale version of a taun taun for Autumn Massey who came up with the whole idea. It looks incredibly soft and the details on the head, right down to the horns and eyes, are gorgeous.

I love the internet. Why? Because the internet allows me to see things like this 80′s style Jon Snow training montage.
I have only two things I’d change.
1) Leave out the non-GoT footage because there’s enough of that to make this work.
2) Use You’re The Best by Joe Esposito and do homage to The Karate Kid.
Or Eye of The Tiger.
Get on it Internet!

Clark Gregg got to unbox the Hot Toys Agent Coulson Action Figure we posted about previously and he looks so happy.
It really is so cool when you see the people you like in movies act so totally like us regular nerds.

Benedict Cumberbatch has never looked so stinking cute. He’s in his Sherlock outfit, but he’s been turned into a Cabbage Patch doll. It’s everything I can do not to squeeze those adorable little cheeks.

There’s little to no chance that most of us will build something as complex as the Mars Curiosity Rover, but we will all soon be able to build a Lego version. It was designed by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory mechanical engineer Stephen Pakbaz who submitted it as a Lego Cuusoo project last Fall. His project was selected for production from among only three projects that received the necessary 10,000 votes needed in order to be considered.
The product is still in development so no pricing or availability have been announced, but as long as it’s less than the real thing, I’m in!

I was a huge Superman fan growing up. In fact, I wouldn’t go to school willingly unless I had my Superman shirt on. If they had figures like this one back in the day, I would have flipped out.
Even now, when it arrived in the mail I kinda flipped out.
This massive Man of Steel action figure from Jakks Pacific clocks in at a whopping 31-inches tall with 7-points of articulation.
I loved it… but my dog wasn’t so sure. Check out more photos after the break.

There’s a rumor going around that a big expansion is in the works over at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida and, as part of that expansion, we may see an East Coast version of Cars Land and (be still my heart) the first ever Star Wars Land.
Theme Park Insider writes:
Yep. Multiple sources have told me the long-awaited dream of theme park geeks everywhere is actually happening. Disney’s moving ahead with both Cars Land and Star Wars Land at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World.
TheForce.net writes:
I spoke to a Disney Cast Member who not only confirmed Niles’ report, but added some new information. This Cast Member heard directly from Disney supervisors that Disney is discussing building a Cantina-themed restaurant in the new Hollywood Studios Star Wars area.
Seems to me, that’s a lot of chatter over at Disney from multiple sources that all points to loads of fun for Star Wars and Cars fans. Of course, it was a given that Disney would eventually make this move after acquiring the rights to Star Wars earlier this year—but now we might know the where and when.
I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye out for more news on this and I’m gonna have to start saving my pennies now so I can head to Florida when it’s time to get my Star Wars geekdom on.

Redditor Sartro thought it would be fun to test his dad on the names of the Game Of Thrones characters and he was right.
It’s a load of fun. The answers are kind of hilarious.
My faves? Ser Jorah Mormont as Lord Buccaneer and Peter Baelish as Lord Weasel.
