JAM HOME MADE teamed up with Japanese accessories brand Porter for a collaborative range, just in time for Summer 2013. The collection consists of several functional bags varying in size from large to small, each built to Porter's high standard of quality. Of course, JAM HOME MADE's sartorial sensibilities have been applied to the collection, resulting in materials such as cordovan leather and tough Cordura nylon being consistently used throughout. While black editions of the backpack, mobile case, body bag, and shoulder bag will be available in store, a special blue colorway will be exclusively available online. The bags are available for pre-order on JAM HOME MADE's web shop.
For those of you who missed out on the Nike Air Max 1 FB “Fresh Mint/Pink Flash” aka “Yeezy”, all hope is not lost; Sneaker Politics, a brick-and-mortar shop out of the N.O., will be restocking these highly sought-after shoes at random times between now and Wednesday at all of their locations. For those of you not in the Lafayette area, fret not; they will be accepting phone orders!
Part of the Nike Air Max “FB” pack, the Air Max 1 FB utilizes the same fresh mint/pink flash motif that several shoes in the FC247 collection also make use of. For those that don’t remember (or simply missed it), the FC247 collection was a futbol-centric (hence the “FB”) pack of performance-driven shoes, each shoe meant to respond best to a specific surface; the shoes of the FC247 collection are, after all, “…designed for fooball anytime, any place”, according to Nikeinc.com. The Air Max 1 FB, with its light-yet-striking colorway, makes for a perfect warm-weather shoe. Whether you’re a “Yeezy”-obsessed fan or just someone in need of a dope pair of kicks for the summer, these shoes are worth a second look.
This release is in-store/phone order only, so don’t count on being able to grab these at their online store. Be sure to follow them on Twitter at @sneakerpolitics for all release info. They’ll be dropping 50 pairs a day, so you should have a shot at grabbing a pair, as long as you stay diligent and are on your A-game. Retail is $110.

The Vans Classic Slip-On is a great summer shoe. It’s comfortable and easy to get on or off. What could make it any better? Vans answers that question with their latest offering for summer 2013 with tie dye. The canvas upper shows off a psychedelic “Tie Dye” pattern that sits on top of an all-white vulcanized sole. Black leather lining takes care of the inside of the sneaker. The shoe can be purchased now at the Vans online store.
Well Dunn, the cooking series hosted by British supermodel Jourdan Dunn, recently welcomed fellow model and baking enthusiast Karlie Kloss to make both a vegetarian curry and gluten free cookies. Those interested in seeing more of Dunn's culinary adventures can find more episodes over at the Jay-Z curated Life and Times website.
Images of a new Kobe 8 colorway has emerged and it seems to be a Knicks proper look. Don’t expect Kobe to be going to New York however. The engineered mesh upper has been done up with a blue gradient with orange swoosh branding on top of it. The midsole features a speckled effect while multicolored laces accompany the sneaker. It is not yet known if these will release or not but stay tuned to fined out.
INABA, the design firm founded by Jeffrey Inaba, was contracted by the Red Bull Music Academy to take four floors of a vacant New York building in its Chelsea neighborhood and turn it into the ideal learning space. The firm used curved walls to divide and structure the 38,000 square feet of L-shaped space to include areas for performances, private workshops, music production and broadcasting. But it isn't all work at the space as human interaction has been heavily emphasized with the inclusion of more intimate lounges, a living room auditorium, production studio, and a rehearsal room to complement larger gathering areas located on the street and cellar levels. The vibe of these areas, in turn, is all made possible through the special consideration given to lighting as the facility is meant to be used throughout the day. While natural light floods in through the ceiling-height windows during the day, custom neon and diffused LED fixtures illuminate the splashes of color that dot many of the otherwise minimalistically arranged spaces after the sun sets. Stay tuned for more news about the space while those interested in some of the musical work that comes out of it can listen to it via its dedicated website.

It was only just recently that gameplay footage surfaced for Watch Dogs, Ubisoft's latest action-adventure title. Set in near-future Chicago, the game follows antihero Aiden Pearce as he tries to track down and kill a media mogul who's been wrongly acquitted for murder. Presented here is a look at Aiden as he navigates the environment and also hacks into the city's central operating system (CtOS), showing just some of the ways CtOS can be exploited to gain the upper hand as well as other interactive features of that in the hugely immersive open-world game. Look forward to this title when it releases later this fall in November to all next-gen consoles and PC.
Stussy presents this limited-edition white tee with its iconic graphic skull laid over a bed of mixed flowers. The whimsical and decorative design of the white skull contrasted with the vibrant colors of the floral pattern might remind some of world of Grim Fandango, an adventure game that combines themes of the Aztec afterlife and film noir. Retailing for ¥5,250 JPY (approximately $52 USD), the shirt can be ordered online now through ZOZO.
Nike reveals the next variant from its 2013 spring/summer Air Max 1 FB pack with the "Orange Leopard." As we saw last week with the Blue Leopard, the same all-over leopard pattern blankets the entire suede upper, but this time with a classic orange leopard colorway. The same Volt-colored accents are used here again for the sole, lace eyelets, and the tongue patch, however, the shoe is topped with lighter macaroni and cheese laces rather than the black waxed laces found on the Blue Leopard. While no details on an exact release date have been specified, expect them to hit retailers within the coming months.
Contemporary artist Speedy Graphito recently opened his second solo exhibition, NEWWORLDS, at the Fabien Castanier Gallery. Presented together with SANDOW, a multi-platform media and design firm, the exhibition NEWWORLDS examines the mutation and perception of the image through the influence of technology and its associated information glut. From the ultra low-res mosaic of the Mona Lisa, it appears that the abstracted presentation and use of pixels will be just one of the features of the exhibition by which the French-born artist (aka Olivier Rizzo) will explore the theme. The exhibition will remain on display throughout May all the way until June 8.

Legendary tennis icon Andre Agassi has renewed his partnership with Nike. Focusing on both sides' shared passion for tennis, the 43-year-old former World Champion will further extend his passion for the sport by helping kids reach their full potential in tennis. This collaboration is another hallmark in the long-running relationship between Nike and Agassi, a tenure that dates back 25 successful years. Nike, Inc. co-founder and chairman Phil Knight says: “As one of the world’s greatest tennis players, Agassi embodied the passion, dedication and determination of the Nike brand. As a philanthropist and campaigner, he continues to share Nike’s commitment to inspire the young generation with his Just Do It spirit. We are honored to welcome him back.”
Much like the Fab Five changed basketball, Andre Agassi changed tennis. His rock and roll persona amped up the quiet game drawing the attention of the MTV generation and Hollywood elite. The man behind the racquet scored many endorsements over his career but none as big as Nike. His vibrant signatures changed the image of “tennis shoe,” adding color to a once dull genre. Now that Agassi has once again joined the Nike team, we take a look at his 10 best kicks and hope that we will see a number of them back on shelves soon.Nike Air Trainer 1
Bo knows tennis, but not like Andre. A young Agassi came into the game rockin McEnroe kicks much like Penny sported Mikes.

Kobe Bryant will go down as one of the best basketball players of all time. However, he almost took his talents to a much smaller market than the lights and glamour of Los Angeles. It’s hard to imagine Kobe in anything but a Laker uniform, but he was actually drafted 13th overall by the Charlotte Hornets. That fact is the inspiration behind the nickname and colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Draft Day.”
