Unforgettably catchy hit single from the Netherlands group headed by Johannes Bouwens. This group was part of a mini-invasion of pop bands from Northern Europe & Scandinavia starting in 1970 that included:
- Shocking Blue (Holland)
- Blue Swede (Sweden)
- Harpo (Sweden)
- The Cats (Holland)
- Mouth & McNeal (Holland)
- Focus (Holland)
- Tee Set (Holland)
- Gasolin' (Denmark), and, of course,
- Abba (Sweden)
Except for Abba, the invasion was brief, but vivid.

This gorgeous ballad became The Hollies' last Top 10 hit ... and the record's awe-inspiring harmonies were a fitting swan song for the group.

Stereo/Mono promo copy. Call me a pacifist, but I'm sorry to note that 40 years after Graham Nash released this single, my country is still suffering from "Military Madness."

Originally released on Capitol 3793. This classic was from the Paramount movie "The Joker Is Wild". It was actually the B side of the single, with little airplay success at the time. This is a new copy of the Capitol Starline release on the purple/silver label.
The flip side of this 45 is "Witchcraft" by Frank Sinatra

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. Think Rap didn't exist before "Rapper's Delight" in 1979? Here's strong evidence that it did. The Last Poets—literally a group of poets from NYC rapping around Black nationalist themes—were one of the (if not the) first rappers pressed to vinyl.

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. This is a beautiful copy of a rare Northern Soul single that's sure to be a hit on the dance floor. The flip is wonderful, too... a sweet-group-soul ballad.

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original factory sleeve. Now, I'm as big a fan of Big Star as anybody, but I have to say that if I were Eric Carmen, I'd be pretty pissed at not getting more credit for advancing the sound of Power Pop than most critics grudgingly offer his old band, the Raspberries. Consider, for example, that this single and its predecessor, "Go All The Way," were roughly contemporary with the first Big Star LP and singles. And if you listen to this song and a Big Star masterpiece like "September Gurls" in the same sitting, it's clear that Alex Chilton and Eric Carmen were soulmates in sound. So don't be afraid to reminisce about being a teenager again as you listen to this blissful sexual daydream... it's one of the best ever recorded!

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. This is a late garage-rock rarity you won't want to miss! The group was active in the early 1970s, and this is their first of three (that I know of) singles on the small, independent Chaos label. Both sides are well worth digging for. Note: The label is black with silver ink, but the logo ink appears to be faded... though I don't know for sure what it looked like new.

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. This raucous party version preceded the similar-sounding Cannibal & Headhunters recording by a year or so. It truly is a live recording... the screaming just don't quit! The B side is a terrific garage-rock-sounding instrumental.
